Pilates Mat and Comprehensive Equipment Teacher

Millie has been a Pilates Teacher since 2019 and qualified in Mat, Reformer and the rest of the apparatus with Polestar Pilates UK. She often assists on the Polestar training courses on weekends for new and upcoming instructors too.

Millie originally trained as a professional dancer, in all dance forms, and it was here she first discovered her love of Pilates and the importance in quality of movement. Millie loves the correlations between dance and Pilates, as well as the differences. Mille loves people, and communication is something she has always found natural. To be able to communicate through teaching movement and taking people on an explorative journey with their bodies is something she is hugely passionate about.

Millie has worked extensively with a mixture of clients, including those post-injury and people who just generally want to move and feel better! Millie observes, “Not everything has to be the biggest and the best range or most power, often less is more!”

Millie’s favourite Pilates exercise is Bridging. “I love finding a sense of activation in the back of the legs to open the front of the hips, as well as the articulation through the spine! It's also very accessible for a lot of people, so from a teaching perspective a joyous thing to share with others.”
