General Terms and Conditions

By booking, purchasing or participating in any class, private session, membership, class pack, workshop or event with Precision Pilates Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these General Studio Terms & Conditions alongside:
Precision Pilates Studio Booking Terms & Conditions, which contain specific information regarding bookings, payments, cancellations, class packs, memberships and credits.
Precision Pilates Studio Class Participation Waiver, which covers health declarations, exercise participation, safety responsibilities and studio expectations during classes.
Our policies are designed to ensure the smooth running of the studio, maintain fairness for all clients and provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone.

All bookings must be made through our Momence booking system.
By making a booking, you agree to attend the session at the time and location confirmed in your booking. It is the client’s responsibility to check the location and give yourself enough time for arrival and parking.
Class Packs & Credits
Class packs have a fixed validity period and must be used before their expiry date.
Class credits cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash or extended beyond their expiry date unless required by law or agreed by Precision Pilates Studio in exceptional circumstances (admin charge may apply).
It is your responsibility to ensure that the class pack or membership option you purchase is suitable for your intended attendance pattern and takes into consideration our timetable, holiday periods and studio closures.
Unused credits cannot be refunded or carried forward once expired.
Cancellations & Missed Classes
Cancellation policies are in place to ensure fairness to all clients and to allow spaces to be offered to others.
Mat Studio classes must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Reformer, Tower and equipment-based classes must be cancelled at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time.
Late cancellations and missed classes may result in the loss of the class credit or the applicable charge being applied.
Repeated late cancellations or missed bookings may result in restrictions being placed on future bookings.
Our policies are applied consistently to all clients to ensure fairness and the smooth running of the studio.
Recurring Bookings & Memberships
Where a recurring booking or membership has been purchased:
You are responsible for managing your attendance and ensuring bookings remain suitable for your schedule.
Membership credits and class allowances are subject to the terms of your chosen membership.
Unused membership credits cannot be rolled over unless specifically stated otherwise.
Memberships require the minimum commitment period stated at the time of purchase.
Cancellation of memberships must be made in accordance with the relevant membership terms.
Memberships cannot be frozen unless in special circumstances and previously agreed by Precision Pilates.
Holiday Timetable
Precision Pilates Studio operates a reduced timetable during certain holiday periods, including school holidays (Summer, Christmas, Easter & Half Terms) and studio breaks.
Clients are responsible for checking timetable dates before purchasing class packs, memberships or bookings.
Reduced timetables and studio closures do not extend class pack expiry dates or membership periods.

Private sessions are available by appointment only and must be paid for in advance.
Private sessions may include Pilates tuition, movement assessment, rehabilitation-focused sessions or individualised coaching up to maximum of 3 clients.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Private sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled within the notice period provided at the time of booking.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full.
Sessions cannot be transferred to another person without prior agreement.
For clients booking a block of private sessions:
Sessions must be used within the agreed timeframe.
Any holiday allowance or extension arrangements must be agreed in advance.
Unused sessions cannot automatically be carried forward beyond the agreed period.

Precision Pilates Studio reserves the right to amend the timetable, change class locations, substitute teachers or cancel sessions where necessary.
Reasons may include:
Teacher availability
Staff training
Maintenance
Health and safety requirements
Low class attendance
Circumstances outside of our control
We aim to provide reasonable notice wherever possible.
Minimum Class Numbers
To ensure classes remain viable and provide the best experience for clients:
Mat classes may require a minimum number of 4 attendees.
Reformer and equipment-based classes may require a minimum number 2 of attendees.
If a class does not meet the required minimum attendance, Precision Pilates Studio reserves the right to cancel the session, and clients will receive appropriate credit or alternative arrangements where applicable.

Your safety is our priority.
Before participating in classes, you must ensure that you are fit and able to exercise safely.
You agree to:
Inform Precision Pilates Studio and your teacher of any medical conditions, injuries, health concerns, pregnancy, recent surgery or mobility restrictions that may affect your ability to participate.
Update us if your health circumstances change.
Follow any advice provided by your healthcare professional.
Stop exercising immediately if you feel unwell, experience pain, dizziness, discomfort or anything unusual during a session.
Inform your teacher if an exercise does not feel appropriate for you.
Failure to provide relevant health information may affect our ability to safely support you during classes.
Pregnancy & Postnatal Participation
Pregnancy and postnatal exercise require appropriate guidance and consideration.
You must inform your teacher if you are pregnant, have recently given birth or are returning to exercise following pregnancy.
We may recommend modifications, alternative exercises or medical approval depending on your individual circumstances.
If you are a NEW client to Precision Pilates studio, we require you to attend a 1:1 session prior to joining one of our general classes.
Allergies & Emergency Medication
Clients must inform Precision Pilates Studio of any relevant allergies or medical conditions, particularly those requiring emergency medication.
Where applicable:
Emergency medication, including auto-injectors, should be accessible during sessions.
Teachers should be informed of any relevant emergency procedures.

Precision Pilates Studio provides specialist equipment including Reformers, Towers, Cadilac, Wunda Chair, Barrel and other Pilates apparatus.
Equipment must always be used safely and respectfully.
Clients agree to:
Follow all teacher guidance and safety instructions.
Use equipment only as demonstrated and for its intended purpose.
Only adjust springs, straps, bars or other equipment when instructed and shown how to do so safely.
Ensure safety mechanisms, including Reformer foot bar safety pins, are correctly secured before use.
Check equipment before beginning exercises.
Report any damaged equipment, unusual movement or faults immediately.
Avoid standing on equipment unless specifically instructed.
Use safety straps and handles correctly where provided.
Tie back long hair and remove large hair clips.
Avoid using equipment in a way that may endanger yourself or others.
Misuse of equipment may increase the risk of injury and may result in you being asked to stop participating.

We want Precision Pilates Studio to be a welcoming, respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Please help us maintain this by following these guidelines:
Arrival & Attendance
Please arrive on time for your class. We do not have a reception area in either studio and we as that you wait for the session before you to finish before entering.
Mat Classes – 10 minutes prior to start.
Events – 15 minutes prior to start.
Reformer / Tower / Privates – 5 minutes prior to start.Late arrival may result in being unable to participate if entering the class would affect safety or disrupt others. This would be classed as a late cancellation.
Please cancel yourself out of your session, via your Momence account, if you are unable to attend (even if last minute).
Clothing & Equipment
Clients should wear suitable clothing that allows safe movement.
Ensure to:
Wear appropriate and supportive exercise clothing.
Wear grip socks for Reformer and equipment-based classes where required.
Avoid clothing with zips, sharp accessories or anything that may damage equipment.
Avoid applying body lotions, oils or products that may affect equipment surfaces.
Bring your own mat to mat based classes.
Studio Cleanliness
Clients are expected to:
Clean equipment after use using the products provided.
Keep personal belongings stored safely.
Leave studio areas tidy.
Not wear outdoor shoes in the studio exercise areas.
Personal Items & Behaviour
Ensure to:
Keep mobile phones and smart watches on silent during classes.
Avoid unnecessary conversation during sessions.
Do not chew gum during classes.
Do not consume food during sessions (unless for medical reasons)
Bring water in a suitable bottle.
Respect for teachers and fellow clients is always expected.

Precision Pilates Studio works with a team of qualified teachers who are committed to delivering safe, effective and enjoyable sessions.
To maintain consistency and quality:
Classes may occasionally be taught by another suitably qualified teacher.
The style and teaching approach may naturally vary between teachers.
Exercises may be adapted according to the needs of each class.
Precision Pilates Studio may use trainee teachers or teachers undertaking mentoring development to teach or co-teach sessions. Clients will be informed where appropriate.
Classes may be observed or co-taught by for quality control, staff development, mentoring or teacher training.
We ask all clients to treat teachers, trainees and team members with respect.

To protect the privacy and comfort of all clients:
Filming / Photography during classes is not permitted without prior permission.
Photos or videos must not include other clients without their consent.
Precision Pilates Studio may occasionally take photographs or videos for marketing purposes. Names will not be included.
If you do not wish to appear in studio photographs or videos, please inform us by email.

Precision Pilates Studio welcomes young people where appropriate.
Clients under the age of 18 must have appropriate parental or guardian consent.
Young people must:
Follow all studio rules.
Behave respectfully towards instructors and other clients.
Follow all safety instructions.
Teenagers aged 15 and above may attend selected classes independently where agreed in advance with Precision Pilates Studio and appropriate consent has been provided.
The studio reserves the right to refuse participation where safety, behaviour or suitability is a concern.

Precision Pilates Studio reserves the right to refuse or withdraw participation where necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing and experience of clients, teachers or the wider studio community.
This may include situations involving:
Aggressive, threatening or abusive behaviour.
Disrespect towards staff or clients.
Unsafe behaviour.
Intoxication.
Repeated failure to follow studio policies.
Behaviour that disrupts classes or affects the enjoyment of others.
Where appropriate, we will communicate concerns directly and aim to resolve issues fairly.

Precision Pilates Studio respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including UK GDPR.
Information collected during registration, booking and health declarations is used to:
Manage bookings.
Deliver safe and appropriate exercise sessions.
Communicate important studio information.
Maintain accurate client records.
Your information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.

All sessions provided by Precision Pilates Studio are a form of physical exercise and, like all physical activity, carries an element of risk.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
You are responsible for exercising within your own abilities.
You will follow teacher guidance and safety instructions.
You will inform your teacher of any concerns or limitations.
Precision Pilates Studio takes reasonable steps to provide a safe environment, qualified instruction and well-maintained equipment.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Precision Pilates Studio will not be responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused by circumstances outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, extreme weather, government restrictions, emergencies or other unforeseen events.
Where possible, we will provide alternative arrangements or appropriate communication.

Precision Pilates Studio reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website and at the time of booking a class on Momence.
Continued use of our services following any updates confirms acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
