Studio Terms and Conditions

Please read our Studio Terms & Conditions carefully before making any booking.
They tell you how Precision Pilates Studio will provide services to you and other important information. 

BOOKING
All bookings are NON refundable.

You can purchase a monthly membership or purchase classes / events on a Drop In / Pay As You Go Rate. All of which are non refundable.

REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS & MISSED CLASSES 
Following booking, Precision Pilates Studio are under no obligation to refund or transfer your money or roll over your class, classes or event to future dates.

In the event of a discretionary refund in special circumstances, Precision Pilates Studio charge a £15 admin fee.

If a class / event / membership is being paid for by someone other than yourself, you are responsible for informing that person of our terms, payment and cancellation policies. 

Should a teacher need to self isolate, and we are not able to invite you into the studio, your class may be moved online via zoom

MISSED CLASSES
Should you not turn up to a class or an event you will not be offered a refund or catch up.
If you have a membership with us, you have the chance to take yourself out of a class and book yourself onto an alternative class (subject to availability).

STUDIO CLOSURE
Should the studio be forced to stop face to face classes due to government restrictions (eg Lockdowns / Covid) your memberships will be “frozen” or your membership can be transferred to an on-line class membership (at the same rate - should there be a difference in price then no credit can be offered)

CANCELLED CLASSES
In the event that we cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances / staff sickness etc, we will credit your account with 1 class credit.

PRIVATE 1:1 / 1:2 / 1:3 SESSIONS
These sessions are to be paid for in advance for the dates agreed Should you have to cancel or do not turn up to a session, Precision Pilates Studio are under no obligation to offer you a refund or re-arrange your session. and you will forfeit your session. It may be possible to re-arrange a session if we are able to “Re Sell” your session and if we have studio & teaser availability - but this is not guaranteed.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS
It is the client’s responsibility to inform Precision Pilates Studio of any existing medical conditions / Injuries etc (complete all information on the Momence Booking Form) prior to taking part in your class / event.
You agree to inform Precision Pilates Studio of any medical or personal changes via E-mail, including pregnancy, surgery, illness etc as soon as you are aware of them. Please keep us updated of any change of contact and emergency contact details. All information will be kept strictly confidential. 

Should you develop any known or suspected medical condition (including Covid-19 symptoms) please consult your doctor and DO NOT attend your face to face class. All information received is treated in confidence and with sensitivity. Please wait until your doctor has given the all-clear or Precision Pilates Studio has confirmed that you can return to your face to face lessons. It may be possible for you to attend an on-line class instead as an alternative (subject to availability). Precision Pilates Studio are NOT able to refund you for any missed classes.

COVID
Should you or any member of your household show ANY symptoms of COVID-19 you MUST NOT attend class until you have a confirmed NEGATIVE PCR test  (please follow the up to date Government Guidelines. Should you or any of your household have symptoms or if you have returned from a country that is on the government quarantine list, you must notify us in writing via Email immediately and refrain from attending class until we can confirm that it is ok to do so.

Symptoms include: Headache, Fever, Fatigue, New, persistent Dry cough, Difficulty breathing, Sore throat, Loss of smell or taste, Diarrhoea or vomiting.

ADVERSE WEATHER
Precision Pilates Studio are under no obligation to refund lessons that may be missed due to local adverse weather (including flooding and snow). We regret that we are unable to offer a refund or rescheduling of lessons in the event of adverse conditions local to yourselves preventing you from attending a scheduled class.

WITHDRAWAL OF SERVICE
Precision Pilates Studio may, at their own discretion, withhold the right to refuse entry to a customer to their lessons / events if it is felt that the customer’s behaviour is unreasonable, rude, inappropriate, threatening or if it is felt that the customer is under the influence of any drugs, substances or alcohol.. In this event no refund can be given. 

VALUABLES, PERSONAL BELONGINGS & JEWELLERY
All property left in our studios and all property (including bikes) left outside, are left at your own risk. Precision Pilates Studio cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions. Please bring the minimal personal belongings to class and refrain from bringing big bags or coats. 

HEALTH, SAFETY & HYGIENE
Outer footwear MUST NOT be worn in the Studios. Shoes, bags, coats and personal belongings must be stored in the shoe rack / baskets / area provided on entry.  Do not bring bags into the studio area where the Mats are.

Clients MUST wear clean non slip socks to class. Please change into these socks when you remove your outer shoes. 

Clients MUST bring with them their own mat and props (including resistance band, pilates soft ball, resistance loops, head cushion) to class. We do have a small amount of small equipment to loan at your own risk. Larger Pilates Props such as Magic Circle, Rollers and weights are provided by Precision Pilates Studio for each class and we ask that you wipe them down after use with the anti bacterial spray provided.

FOOD is NOT allowed in any studio at any time (unless for medical reasons)

HOT DRINKS are NOT allowed in the studio.

Please bring a drinks bottle with you to class ideally with a flip lid.

Precision Pilates Studio will ensure that the floors are cleaned regularly and that the barres and door handles are cleaned with an anti bacterial spray prior to your class. 

Baby Prams / Buggies / Scooters / Bikes  are NOT to be brought into the studios at ANY time. 

TEACHERS
Precision Pilates Studio values the consistency of your lessons. However, changes to instructors may occasionally be necessary due to illness, holidays, or training requirements. We aim to provide advance notice of such changes, though this may not always be feasible.

You may also notice trainee or student teachers observing or teaching parts of your class as a part of their training. Our instructors have completed rigorous teacher training, but some may still be accumulating teaching hours before they complete their examinations.

We kindly ask that you treat all our teaching staff with respect. Should you have any feedback or concerns, please direct them to the studio owner via email. Thank you for your understanding and support.

CLASS OBSERVATION
To maintain quality control and ensure consistency in our teaching practices across all classes, senior members of the Precision Pilates staff may conduct class observations on an ad hoc basis. Such "spot checks" may occur at any time and without prior notification. Additionally, these observations may be part of our staff mentoring program, during which instructors may occasionally co-teach a class. Precision Pilates is not obligated to inform clients of such activities.

LATENESS

The studio doors will be locked at the start time of a class. If you are late, we are under no obligation to unlock the door if the class / event has already started. Please ensure that you arrive on time for your class / event to avoid disruption to other clients and the flow of the session or to avoid not being let in.

If you are repeatedly late for a class we reserve the right to withdraw you from that class ongoing.

Classes - There is a 10 minute turn around period between classes. Please ensure that you do not arrive any earlier than 5 minutes before your class (as we do not have a reception area to wait in) and allow the clients in the previous class to leave before you enter.

Events - Please arrive 10-15 minutes before any special event (eg Gong / Yoga session) to give yourself time to settle into the room before the start.

Reformer Classes / Private sessions - These are run back to back. Please wait outside the studio for the Teacher to let you in at the start of your session.

CLOTHING
Please be respectful of other clients and teachers within your class when choosing what clothing to wear.
We ask that…
-ladies do not wear low cut tops.
- you wear underwear underneath tight leggings / shorts.
- those wearing loose shorts - please ensure that you have appropriate underwear or tight fitting shorts underneath them.
- you are mindful of leggings becoming see through. Especially when you bend over or squat!
- you wear socks for hygiene purposes.

HANDS ON CORRECTION
Pilates / Barre / Yoga are movement-based health practices and do involve close physical contact. Our teachers offer Hands On Correction to ensure correct safe positioning / posture / alignment. We respect your wishes if you do NOT agree to Hands on Correction and you need to notify your teacher at the beginning of class or email us in advance to notify us.


DATA PROTECTION and GDPR 
In order to book a class with Precision Pilates Studio, you must register your details on our Momence booking system at the time of booking. These will include your name, telephone number, email address, home address, emergency contact details, and any relevant conditions that could affect you whilst in a our care.

We will not share this data with any other third party other than those required to process your booking or where we are legally required to do so.   All clients are required to complete our Medical Form which your Instructor will have access to in order to ensure that he / she is offering you a class that is safe and effective for you and your body.

You can choose to unsubscribe to marketing emails at any time. Although this is our main way of communicating with our clients and informing you of class changes, updates, cancellations so we advise that you “opt in” for our marketing and transactional emails.

Your name will be displayed on our class registers in order to be used by our teachers to help tailor our classes to the individual needs of our customers. 

Any teachers that are NO LONGER working for Precision Pilates Studio DO NOT have the right to make contact with you in any way. Please notify the studio owner if this has happened via email.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death and personal injury. In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by the instructor(s) or Precision Pilates Studio, all participants take part at their own risk.

By making a booking with Precision Pilates Studio, you are agreeing to the statements below: 

  • I understand that, because movement-based health practices may involve prolonged contact or even some close physical contact there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID-19. 

  • I agree to hands on correction given by the instructor. I will email Precision Pilates Studio if I DO NOT wish to have hands on correction.

CHANGES TO OUR T&Cs
From time to time we may update these terms and conditions and, in this instance, will notify existing customers who are currently booked onto our classes. It is also up to the client to keep up to date with our Studio Terms & Conditions.
