Memberships

Precision Pilates Studio run a regular timetable of classes during the Wiltshire School Terms - approximately 40 weeks per year. Our memberships are based on Term Time only classes. During the Holiday Periods (see our holiday dates) we run a reduced timetable of Pay as you go classes. These classes are open to anyone including those without an active membership.

A monthly membership payment is taken on the same day of each month (from the day you take out your membership) with 12 monthly payments being taken. These monthly payments are based on a pro rata amount for the year. This is a great way of spreading the cost of your classes and if you attend regularly it works out as a cheaper option than Pay As You Go/ Drop in rate.

Once you have taken out a membership you will be booked onto a recurring weekly class (eg Monday 9.30am). Your monthly membership guarantees that you will have a space saved on a “Mat” in a particular class each week.

What is the term of my membership?

When you sign up for one of our monthly memberships, you are agreeing to a minimum term of three months: the month you sign up PLUS three monthly renewals

What if I need to cancel my membership?

After the initial 3 month commitment period, you can cancel with one month's notice. You must give notice before your renewal date of the following month. For example, you would need to cancel before 1 February so that the 1st March payment isn't taken.  Please email us to cancel your membership. If you are booked into a recurring class we will remove you - you don’t need to do this.

What is the cost of a Membership?
1 x 60 minute class per week - £40 per calendar month
2 x 60 minute classes per week - £78 per calendar month
3 x 60 minute classes per week - £114 per calendar month
4 x 60 minute classes per week - £150 per calendar month

1 x 45 minute express class per week - £30 per calendar month

1 x 60 minute ONLINE class per week - £37 per calendar month

How do I make a booking?
Download the Momence App or log in using a desktop. Once you have set up your account on Momence you will easily be able to manage your bookings.

How much are Pay As You Go / Drop in Classes?
Pay as you go classes are charged at £13.50 per class.

Terms & Conditions of Booking

We try to be as "flexible" as possible (good use of words!) to our clients in our offering if you miss a class. We are a small business trying to stay afloat. Please note that catch-up classes are not guaranteed, but this is an added extra service that we like to be able to offer to our clients (where possible). Many gyms/studios/swimming pools/clubs/music teachers do not allow you to make up classes if you can't get to them. Precision Pilates catch-up classes/credits are special service we try to provide, but aren’t owed to our clients.
 

What happens if I can't make my class?

If you can't make a class, you may be able to receive a credit for a future class. To receive a credit for a missed class, you must cancel yourself out of your class (through the Momence booking app or desktop version) at least  24 hours before class starts. A credit will be issued to your account (if you cancelled your class with at least 24 hours notice) which sits on your account 21 days after the last day of the week that you were away in.

In the event of a client cancelling a class due to "special circumstances", Precision Pilates Studio may offer a cash refund subject to an administration fee and at our discretion.

What can my credits be used for?

Credits can be used to book alternative classes (online and in-person) but only during term time and are subject to availability. They cannot be used for holiday classes or pay-as-you-go events (e.g. sound gong, yoga, Saturday classes, workshops, etc.).

You can also use your credits to book an Online Pilates class. If you can't make the class live, we will send you a recording to do at home, valid for seven days.

 

When can I use my credit?

You can use your credit within the same week that you have cancelled yourself out of a class, plus during the three weeks following (except school holiday non term time dates)

For example:

You can’t come to your class on Thursday, 1 February 2024, and so you have taken yourself out of this class. You can then use credit to book yourself into a class that same week between Monday, 29 January - Friday, 2 February 2024. Or a class in the weeks’ commencing 5, 12, & 19 February.

However, you cannot book into a class for a catch-up in any of the weeks before you are away (you can’t bank credits in advance). If you do - the booking system will charge your card on file for this class. Think of it like going to a shop for an exchange. You can't get an exchange before you've bought and collected the item from the shop.

Can credits be used in our “Holiday / non Term Time” classes?
No. Credits can only be used in our regular Term Time schedule.

Can I exchange my credits for cash?

Credits do not have a monetary value and cannot be exchanged for a cash refund.

 

Can credits be used if I'm no longer a member?

Credits are only available for use if you have an "active" membership. If you cancel your membership, your credits are no longer valid. Any unused credits expire when your membership expires.

 

What happens if Precision Pilates Studio cancels my class?

If we have to cancel a class due to staff sickness, studio closure, or force majeure, we will issue you a credit to book an alternative class.

Can I swap classes if I am booked into a recurring class?
If you are booked into a weekly regular class (eg every Monday 9.30am) and you wish to change classes ongoing (eg to Tuesday 9.30am) you MUST email Precision Pilates Studio (hello@precisionpilatesstudio.co.uk) with the request. We can check availability for the requested class ongoing and swap your class over.
