Kate Roy
Fully comprehensive Pilates Teacher
Kate joined the Precision Pilates Team in November 2025.
Her journey to become a Pilates Teacher began in September 2024. She trained with The Physiotherapy & Pilates Rehab Centre in Bristol, and qualified as a fully comprehensive Pilates teacher in June 2025. Her deep fascination with anatomy and movement began following a hip arthroscopy — a time when she discovered first-hand how transformational Pilates can be for rehabilitation.
Driven by her passion for movement and a desire to help others, Kate made a bold choice to change careers and step into the Pilates world. She was eager to deepen her Pilates knowledge and support people on their own journeys to strength, balance, and well-being.
Kate’s favourite part of teaching is building relationships with her clients and watching their confidence grow as they master precise movement. “Seeing the look of satisfaction on a client's face when they ‘get’ an exercise, when they can feel the right muscles working, is so rewarding!”.
Her favourite Pilates exercise is Feet in Straps on the Reformer - a versatile set of movements she loves to help improve pelvic stability, mobilise the hips, and engage multiple muscle groups. “It feels great and, with all the variations, can be lots of fun too!”.
